The 3ncrypt3d Club, aka Encrypted Club for non 1337/133t readers, is a club formed as an extension of Mr. Smith’s Intro. to Computer Science/IT Essentials/Internet Engineering classes at Oak Hills High School. This club was formed in the 2015-2016 school year.
We formed a club to help learn more about IT topics through hands-on learning and to help our community by offering our services to troubleshoot and fix computer issues they might be having. Starting in 2018-2019 school year, we transitioned from a troubleshooting club to a full fledged cyber security club. We have been competing in the Air Force Association’s National CyberPatriot competition as well as regional competitions such as Mayor’s Cup and SoCal CyberCup.
