December 12th – State Round

December 12th has arrived! This Sunday was the agreed day where all teams arrived to Coach Smith’s Classroom to compete in State Round. Members arrived with their notes in hand and they begin preparing their PC with each image and Packet Tracer. Once again, this event started from 10 A.M all the way to 4 P.M.

For this round, it was expected that Forensic Questions and identifying vulnerabilities would be more difficult. However, this was only temporary because members were able to overcome walls and gain points. Every point counts and even if it’s a point or two, it can move a team some places up on the scoreboard.

As the teams worked on their images, with the help of Tammy and Mehrad, they were able to bring in food which Smith was able to cook for all the members. Shout out to them since they were able to bring this all possible and provide food for the members!

After eating and taking a break, members were able to finish off strong gaining last minute points and solving forensic questions that they were not able to solve at first but eventually worked up to finding the answer and solutions to the vulnerabilities. Congratulations to all the teams that have made it this point, each person has done well and every point each member were able to gain has made a difference to their team’s placement on the scoreboard.
