First Practice Image of The Year on Windows 11

Second 3ncrypted club meeting of the 2025-2026 school year – 08/28/25

We are now in our second meeting of the year, which means stepping into our first glimpse of what Cyber Patriot will have! This meeting was centered around our first Windows image based on Windows 11, which may have been a new experience for some club members.

First off big thanks to our club President, Jacob for creating this Windows image on his own! The first ever in the club to actually go through with creating an original Windows image. Just a light introduction to what we will be experiencing later on this year.

The Windows image itself consisted of easy forensics questions, and increased in difficulty as you progressed. Cryptography deciphering, active directory, and other windows related challenges. It also had a neat scoring system that kept track of how much progress you have made.

Two former members of the club also made a guest appearance today, Isaiah Gutierrez and Hayden Paumier! Isaiah was a former President of the club and Hayden was a former CyberPatriot Team Captain.

Both of our returning members helped around today, giving insights and nudges for some of the questions. Isaiah is studying cyber security and Hayden is looking into the technology field. A big thanks to them for helping today!

This was a good first dip into the big pool that is Cyber Patriot, which we will dive fully into as teams are formed and competitions near. Take this time to be curious, find niches and study on your own time. It is vital that you all practice and learn outside of our club meetings.
