March 2nd – Mayor’s Cup Pictures and Cyber Skyline

For today’s meeting, Coach Smith had a couple of important announcements about a notice that was sent to him by the hosts from Mayor’s Cup, which will be listed below:

1. All competitors competing in Mayor’s Cup have to have their parents sign a DocuSign release media which gives permission to the competitor to compete in this event.
2. All participants must register for a live event that begins at 5 which include listening to guest speakers and information on how to prepare for IT jobs.
3. Each member needs to submit a portrait picture of themselves which will be used for the Awards Ceremony.
4. Before the Mayor’s Cup event begins, participants must attend a kick-off ceremony which will give a short welcome and message.
5. Awards Ceremony – After an 1-hour break, participants will be participating at a Awards Ceremony which will announce the winners of the Mayor’s Cup Event.

After discussing each of the announcements and what each participant is required to do to participate in the Mayor’s Cup event, participants began working on their Cyber Skyline and challenges. During this time, Coach Smith also began to take pictures of each member so that they can be able to submit their portrait pictures for Mayor’s Cup as well.
