October 20th – Preparation for Round 1

For this meeting, an estimation of 26 students has arrived at today’s meeting, which includes finalizing what needs to be done for teams, writing notes so they could be used on Saturday, and which team member would be doing what during Round 1.

Not only are the Images important, but teams also had to organize who was going to do what for Packet Tracer. The club’s coach, Mr. Smith, however was able to assign all members to a Cisco Class that includes chapters and other content that may be found on the Packet Tracer depending on the modules that CyberPatriot wants participants to study for.

Going back to the notes, many members were able to use resources from OakHillsTech and notebooks that belong to returning members so that they could be able to prepare for an image that they have had experienced with or an image that they have not practiced before. Resources from OakHillsTech include checklists for all three images, CyberPatriot slides, and PDFs that include more specific information on the CyberPatriot Images.

By the end of the meeting, many of the members were able to collect enough notes, discuss plans, and set goals for Round 1 for CyberPatriot. Good luck everyone!
