Students are still showing up to club remotely and today we are juicing it! Juice Shop that is. Juice Shop is an excellent platform to learn security vulnerabilities–combine that with a CTF platform and it’s game on!

CyberCup Qualification Round
COVID 19 couldn’t stop the teams from doing qualification round! It looked a little different this year, with teams utilizing groups in Discord, but it worked nonetheless. Congrats to all the team members who showed up and competed well! Discord in action! Teams on the rise!

Club Thanksgiving Basket
Club decided to participate again in this year’s OHHS thanksgiving basket. The basket turned out great with a festive turkey flair and some quality food donations. Hopefully, our basket will help make Thanksgiving a little brighter for a family in our community.

CyberPatriot Round 2
This was a grueling round, but all five teams persevered and gave their all until the end. At this point, it looks like four out of five teams will advance to State as Platinum and the fifth team will enter State as Gold. Nice work!!

CyberPatriot: Round 1
Wow, round one was amazing! There was some grueling moments, but at the end of the day, four out of five teams are in the running for platinum! The fifth team is still in the running for gold! Amazing work together!

CyberPatriot: End of the Training Round
This year, our club has five teams competing in CyberPatriot! The teams have diligently been making their way through the images and today is final day to look at these and practice. This Saturday will be our first practice round–then on to Round 1!

CyberHub Mayor’s Cup 2019
Three teams went to Moreno Valley College to compete in CyberHub’s Mayor’s Cup for the Inland Empire. It was a grueling day doing CTF-style cyber security competition. Yet, after the dust settled, we had one team win third place! The team was within one short question of second and one long question from first. Great

CyberPatriot Semi-Finals/Finals Round for Gold Team!
Rain and wind couldn’t stop the Gold team from trying to those last few points. Of course, losing the Internet for 3/4 of the day would sway most teams to drop out. But not this team! It was spare USB WiFi adapters and a Hotspot that kept this team scoring!
