As the witching hour draws near, our students decorated our door for most creative/unique Halloween door decoration complete with a PSU spider named PSA, Power Supply Arachnid, and glowing red LEDs on the motherboard!
On a beautiful Saturday, 3ncrypt3d club members arrived to compete in the Inland Empire Mayor’s cup. It’s been a year for some since they have competed, and for some, this was their first time. Regardless, every team was ready to show the High Desert can represent! At the end of the quick four hours, the
Ms. Dang, Head Counselor for OHHS, needed a new computer for her office. No worries, IT Essentials just build 10 beautiful new computers for teachers–we can hook her up with one those. However, she also kind of wanted a little bling. How about a red glittered case with black to match OHHS’ colors? Okay, done.
Internet Engineering II students, many of whom have been in club for years, prepared for over two months for this night. March 17, 2023 was a special night where industry representatives from NASA, General Atomics, and more comingled with district staff–including our Superintendent Dave Olney–and Oak Hills’ IT pathway students and HHS’ Graphic Design pathway

DogBytes placed second overall in the Mayor’s Cup competition! Digital Dogs placed fourth and missed third by only 25 points but with better accuracy than the third place team. Both teams placed higher than the number one college team who placed seventh overall!
