CSUSB Field Trip.
On a Thursday, November 14th 2024, Internet Engineering 1 and Internet Engineering 2 both went to the CSUSB Campus (Aka, California State University of San Bernardino)! We got toured around the campus, looking at the unique architecture. We were able to look at the inside of the Library, and looked inside Jack Brown Hall, the center of Cybersecurity.

We met our own bulldog over at CSUSB! The past club president from 2020 to 2021- Alberto Yerena! He and his club team had us do a challenge or Mr Smith’s loses a hand!
The Challenge was composed out of five stations, all having a clue/flag to get. Once we get all five, we can find a key– unlocking Mr Smith, whose locked with handcuffs. We only had about 15-20 minutes to unlock Mr Smith.
Luckily, in only a couple seconds on the clock, we were able to give Mr. Smith another day with two hands.

Current club president Valeria Ramirez took a picture with some students eating lunch with Mr Smith. At CSUSB, there was a wide range of types of food, from American to Italian.
Fortunately, we made it back home
We came back to Oak Hills High School, around 11:45, around 30 minutes till the final bell rang. That gave some time to practice and learn for the upcoming round two CyberPatiot competition just next day.
